Amid the chaos and uncertainty surrounding the global pandemic, there is one undeniable fact: older people are at a higher risk, especially the ones that with a medical condition like diabetes, hypertension, heart problems, and autoimmune disease, etc.

As India continues to fight against the pandemic, elders are struggling to survive. Pachu is reaching out to the elders, homeless, migrant workers and daily wage earners who are having a hard time and are the worst hit. Pachu is distributing Free Meals for Survival to elders and their community in rural and urban areas, through its Mobile Healthcare Units.

Pachu is a leading charitable organisation working with and for older people in India for more than 40 years. It runs Agecare, healthcare and livelihood programs and provides senior care services throughout the country & advocates strongly for the cause of elders and fights for their rights. It aims to serve elder needs in a holistic manner, enabling them to live active, dignified and healthier lives.

We make an appeal to help our children to get a new house which provides all required facilities stipulated by the Government of India. Now we have been living in rented buildings. We face the hardship of increased rent every year. Huge payment of rent takes away all our resources nevertheless the maintenance of the building.
